A long road trip to Lenox resulted in a doubleheader sweep for the Pleasantville Trojan Girls and Boy Basketball Teams 50-36 and 64-45 respectively.

The girls took care of business early on, and used momentum from good play earlier in the week to the tune of their third win in their last four games. Kelsee Van Haalen scored 14 points to lead the Trojans, while Madyson Thill had 9 and Jordan Dursky had 8. The Trojans improve to 5-12 on the season.

The boys used the pressure Lenox put on leading scorer Brady Elder to their advantage building a double digit lead, and Owen Worthington was a big beneficiary of that leading the team with 16 points. The Trojans have won their last four Pride of Iowa Conference games and improve their record to 10-5 on the season. Both Trojan squads stay at home next week against I-35.
