The Pleasantville Trojan Girls Basketball Team fell in another overtime heartbreaker last night, this time at home in a non-conference bout with Albia.

The Trojans were outscored 33-25 in the first half, but the defense picked up in the second allowing only 17 Blue Demon points, and had a two point lead with 20 seconds to go. A near steal would go out of bounds, and led to an Albia jumper to send the game to extra minutes, where clutch shooting gave Albia the win. Kelsee Van Haalen scored 25 points and Morgan Thorpe put in 9, as the Trojans fall to 2-11. Both the girls and boys teams are back in action tonight at home against East Union, and you can hear the play by play live on the KNIA3 stream starting at 6pm.
