The PCM boys’ and girls’ basketball teams will hit the road tonight for a match up with Greene County before turning right back around and taking on South Hamilton at home on Tuesday.

The Mustangs will head into tonight’s matchup playing their third game in five days and after Tuesday night will have played in four games in six nights. The toughest matchup will be on the boy’s side, where the Mustangs are still just a game back in the Heart of Iowa Conference standings behind both Greene County and South Hamilton the two teams they battle in the next two days. The Mustangs could potential be tied for first in the standing if they can get through these two next games with wins. On the girls side of things the Mustangs will face two teams tonight and Tuesday with five combined wins on the season. The two day stretch could be a potential trap for PCM as they came out on Friday night a little flat before taking over against Gilbert and cruising to a 10 point win. The Mustangs will have to take care of both Greene County tonight and South Hamilton on Tuesday to keep pace with Nevada and set up a potential Heart of Iowa Conference Championship matchup on Friday night. PCM and Greene County will hit the hardwood tonight in the Greene County high school gym starting with the girls game at 6 p.m.
