The Pleasantville Trojans went down to Southeast Warren on Tuesday and came away with a sweep of the Warhawks inside the Southeast Warren high school gym. The girls won 44-24 and the boys cruised to 59-33 win. The Trojan girls got the winning started by dominating the Warhawks for the Trojans second win of the season. Morgan Thorpe led all scorers with four three pointers giving her a surprising 12 points on the night.

The Trojan girls will now try to replicate their performance as they head to Southwest Valley on Friday. The Trojan boys’ basketball team also won in dominating fashion on Tuesday as the Trojans extended their win streak to three games. The story for the boys however was the explosion of points in the paint as 44 of the Trojans 59 points came in the paint led by junior Kyle Amendt with 14 of his own. The Trojans move to 6-3 overall with their three losses only coming by a combined 11 points. The Trojans seem to be hitting on all cylinders as they get ready to travel on their longest road trip of the season to Southwest Valley in an attempt to move to 7-3 and extend their win streak to four games.
