Twin Cedars won first round bragging rights in Southern Marion County by sweeping Melcher-Dallas last night. The Sabers girls notched their first win of the season by defeating the Saints 50-to-13.

Shelby Denburger scored 17 points to lead Twin Cedars. Coach Mark Bacus told KNIA/KRLS it was by far the best game they played all season. On the boys side Twin Cedars broke open a five point game late to win 60-to-46. Jake Crozier had his third straight double-double with 16 points and 20 rebounds and Cam Arkema poured in 11 points. Blaise Cooper led a balanced scoring attack for Melcher-Dallas with 13 points while Sam Houston and Ethan Harrington scored ten each.
