With four games left in the regular season, the chase is on for the final slots in the Iowa Conference basketball tournaments. Central’s men look to improve their chances as they head to Loras tonight for a women’s – men’s doubleheader.

The Dutch men are 6-6 in the Iowa Conference and vaulted to fourth place over the weekend. It’s a perilous slot, however, as a loss tonight to the 8-4 Duhawks could drop them back as low as seventh. The top six teams make the tournament.

Central’s women are in dire straits, sitting at 2-10 and in last place. They’d need to win their last four games, starting tonight against 7-5 Loras, and get help along the way to climb into the top six.
