Fresh off of their 20th anniversary celebration, Habitat for Humanity of Marion County is hoping to continue their impact locally.

Darrell Sarmento with Habitat says the non-profit has multiple upcoming projects they’ll be working on this spring.

“Obviously the dedication of the 50th home will be another big ceremony,” Sarmento says. “We’ll be having a golf tournament, we’ll be breaking ground on a new home on Brook Circle in Pella this summer—that’ll be our next house, plus we have a new repair program that we’re trying to expand andmeet the needs of homeowners in Marion County that need some help with repairs on their home.”
