Iowa State Extension and Outreach will be holding a Farmland Drainage Workshop on March 3rd at the Iowa Bioprocess Center in Eddyville.

The workshop will run from 8:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Field Agricultural Engineer with the Iowa State Extension and Outreach, Kapil Arora tells KNIA/KRLS News the program will provide information essential for designing and planning of a drainage system as well as teaching retrofitting for older systems. There is a $40 registration fee for the event and $60 fee if you register after February 28th. Workshop materials, morning refreshments and lunch are included in the registration. The Workshop is limited to the first 80 people that sign up. To register for the workshop contact the Mahaska County Extension Office.
