A three point barrage in the third quarter allowed the Knoxville Boys Basketball Squad to blow open a close game as the Panthers won going away 68-45 last night in the first round of the class 3A District. Knoxville splashed six three point shots and built a lead as high as 29 points before settling for the 27 point win. Coach Jeff Larson told KNIA/KRLS the third quarter it seemed that everything the guys threw up at the basket, went in. Trent Davis led all scorers with 22 points. Knoxville will improve to 16-7 and will play Oskaloosa, in a rematch of a game in early December, on Thursday. You can hear the call on AM 1320 and 95.3 KNIA at 6:30.
