A hard charging PCM girls basketball team will take on the #2 ranked team in class 4A Nevada for a share of the Heart of Iowa Conference lead tonight on the road.

The Lady Mustangs only conference blemish so far this season was a 67-32 loss against the Cubs back in December. PCM Coach Jeff Lindsay knows that tonight will be his squad’s toughest task of the season, but the Mustangs have been on fire as of late. The girls have won six straight and nine of their last ten, with an average winning margin of over 20 points. The Mustang boys are on the opposite end of the spectrum, having lost their last four games, and will have to try and avenge a 66-49 loss from their first meeting with the Cubs. The PCM vs. Nevada doubleheader will start at 6pm tonight.
