The Pella School Board reviewed Superintendent Greg Ebeling’s goals and legislative advocacy priorities at their meeting yesterday.

Ebeling’s new goal for the next academic year is to manage how change is handled in the district and to improve associated policies. Board President Joan Corbin discussed legislative priorities going through the Iowa School Board Administration, which includes goals to ensure public education funding remains a priority at the Iowa Statehouse.

The board also reviewed the annual Iowa Report Card, which showed all four buildings graded in at least the top 38 percent in Iowa, as well as the fiscal year 2016 audit.
