Just before the NBA broke for its annual all-star game, Kyle Korver became just the seventh player in league history to make 2,000 three-point baskets.

Now in his 14th season, the Pella high grad has made 2,010 long balls while playing for five different teams.

He’s only one hot game away from fifth all-time, as he trails the Clippers’ Jamal Crawford by just three three-pointers and the Grizzlies’ Vince Carter by one.

Ray Allen’s 2,973 threes is the most in NBA history.

Korver, who has led the league three times for best three-point shooting percentage, has the NBA record in that category with a .536 clip in 2009-2010 and is seventh all-time at 43-percent.
