The Pleasantville Trojan Boys Basketball Team will have some scoring to replace on next year’s team, as 1000-point scorer Brady Elder is being lost to graduation.

The senior guard averaged 18.2 points per game from his sophomore season on, shot over 30% from long range and just under 80% from the charity stripe. The Trojans got a taste of life without their leading scorer when Elder was out due to a appendectomy midway through the season, and junior guards Gauge Van Haalen and Owen Worthington had larger scoring responsibilities, and they responded. Van Haalen went from averaging 3.3 points as a sophomore, to 10.3 as a junior. A full recap of the Trojans season can be heard on the Knoxville Hyvee Radio Coaches Corner in the coming weeks.
