When the PCM Girls Basketball team plays in the state tournament this coming Tuesday, they will play against the wire-to-wire #1 ranked team Sioux Center who is 24-0 on the season.

The Mustangs have only dropped four games all season, but they will draw on the competition they played against in those four losses to help them get by the Warriors. The four losses have been to #2 in class 4A Nevada twice, #4 in class 4A Pella, and #7 in class 2A Pella Christian. The most important loss out of those four that gives the Mustangs the most confidence is the trip to Nevada that the Mustangs lost just 46-52.

PCM ended the regular season ranked 11th, which makes them the lowest ranked team in class 3A to make the state tournament. Tune in this Saturday for the Knoxville Hyvee Radio Coaches Corner this Saturday from 10-noon for a full preview of the Mustangs journey to the state tournament.
