The Pleasantville Trojans got their second win of 2017 against the Martensdale St. Marys Blue Devils in a 44-34 win on the road Saturday night.

The difference this time around compared to the last win for the Trojans, this win pushes them to the second round of postseason play and eliminates the Blue Devils ending their season. Kelsee Van Haalen led all scores with 19 points, 14 of which came in the second half. Abby McVay added 11 with two deep three pointers in the 3rd quarter that helped the Trojans take the lead and never look back. With the win the Trojans will now take on Central Decatur on Tuesday a team that outscored the Trojans 145-27 on the year. Head Coach Aaron Fichter knows Central Decatur will be a tough task but since its postseason play its win or go home so he expect his girls to throw everything they have at the Cardinals The Trojans and Cardinals will hit the hardwood Tuesday night at 7pm at the Central Decatur High School gym.
