Whether you bleed red and white, green and white or maroon and gold, you’ll have some of your favorite Pella area athletes to cheer on tonight in a unique wrestling doubleheader at Kuyper Gym.

The first match of the night is Central against Luther in Iowa Conference action. Then Pella High, who has three athletes from Pella Christian on this year’s team, will wrestle Oskaloosa in Little Hawkeye Conference action.

Little Dutch Coach Joe Burch says that he hopes to see a packed house tonight.

“We hope to get a lot of people from the community coming out. We hope for a lot of Central College students, a lot of high school students, our youth wrestling club, middle school students. We want it to be a community event where it’s centered around wrestling and our wrestling families.”

Action starts at 6:00 with the Central versus Luther match. Pella and Oskaloosa will take the mat afterwards, with the start time scheduled for 8:00.
