For the second straight day, the Central College softball team lost to Wisconsin-La Crosse, then rebounded with a win over Hamline. The split wraps up a 16-game flurry of action in Tucson, Arizona in which the Dutch went 13-3.

Yesterday morning, Central fell 3-2 to LaCrosse in eight innings. Amanda Sigulas hit her first collegiate home run to erase a 2-0 deficit, but the Dutch lost in extras with the international tie-breaker in effect.

Central then never trailed in an 11-2 win over the Pipers that took just five innings.

The Dutch return to Pella today, and will open the Iowa portion of their schedule this weekend at the Kuyper Athletic Complex.
