Two Pella High boys, two from Pella Christian and one from Pleasantville earned academic all-state honors from the Iowa High School Athletic Association.

Pella’s Ryan Van Wyk and Nick Finney, Pella Christian’s Levi Jungling and David Kacmarynski, and Pleasantville’s Brady Elder were recognized.

Cumulatively, the 24 student-athletes on the academic all-state team have a GPA of 3.98, and they have an average ACT score of 29.6.
