While they did not get to the state meet this season…the Knoxville Girls Bowlers will have a lot of experience coming back next winter. The Panthers lose two seniors, Myla Dakin and Tyra Villalobos but Coach Shaun Renard tells KNIA/KRLS Sports experience mixed with youth will mean several girls vying for varsity spots next year. The girls missed qualifying for the state meet by 61 pins. Renard says if there is one thing they need to work on this offseason is picking up spares. He says one or two pins can sometimes determine who wins or loses a meet.
