The Knoxville Hy-Vee will be conducting their Kids In The Kitchen event tonight inside the Knoxville Hy-Vee kitchen.

The event is open for all ages, but children under age five must be accompanied by an adult. Knoxville Hy-Vee Store Manager Brett Shelman tells KNIA/KRLS News the event is a chance for children to learn something new instead of just learning how to cook a frozen pizza. Shelman adds there will be a dietitian who will teach children how to eat healthy as well. Children will learn how to make Green Smoothies, Lucky Charms Snacks and Leprechaun Dip. Cost is $5 per child with the cooking starting at 5 p.m. For more information about Kids in The Kitchen contact the Knoxville Hy-Vee.
