While on the surface, the Twin Cedars Girls Basketball Squad did improve this season. Three wins is not going to get noticed as improvement, but Coach Mark Bacus tells KNIA/KRLS Sports his girls ran the system much better in his second season and got more confident as the season went on. He also, earlier this week took his team to the class 1A Girls State Basketball Tournament games. He says ,while no one is expecting Twin Cedars to play at Wells Fargo Arena next season, what he hopes to show his girls is that they can play at a high level and it all starts with their mindset. Bacus adds just a couple of days during the summer in the gym putting up shots will greatly improve their shooting which was only 25% this season.
