Central College sophomore pitcher Charlie Palmer struck out four batters over six-and-a-third innings in a 9-5 win over Knox College of Illinois yesterday afternoon at the Russ Matt Invitational.

Seth Griffiths finished the game 4-for-6 with two doubles, scored three runs and stole three bags, Garrett Saunders went 2-for-5 with a double and two RBIs and Michael Reuter went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs.  

Central collected 15 hits, including four doubles.
The Dutch are 3-6 and continue invitational play today with a doubleheader against Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts.
