More than just qualifying to the class 3A state tournament for the 10th time in school history, the senior class for the PCM Mustang Girls Basketball Team was a special one.

Kayla Jennings, Katie Vande Wall, Rachel Stafford, Lexi Timmins, Kaylee Townsend, Bailey Brodersen and Abby Waddell were all major contributors on the team, and helped to continue the winning culture around the program. The seven combined to average 39 of the 53 points scored by the Mustangs per game, and PCM Head Coach Jeff Lindsay told KNIA/KRLS Sports that they meant so much more to him and the school than just basketball.

Jeff Lindsay
“There’s been a lot of great young ladies that came before them, but I haven’t had the pleasure of coaching them. These young ladies I did, and I told them my only regret was that I didn’t get a chance to coach them sooner”

The Mustangs had their season ended in the first round of the class 3A state tournament on Tuesday, with a 20-5 record.
