The Pella Police Department has arrested a juvenile accused of sexually abusing a younger female.

On Thursday, the Pella Police Department issued two written complaints of delinquency charging the accused teen with five counts of sexual abuse in the third degree, each a class C felony. The complaints were forwarded for action to the Juvenile Court in Marion County.

Police say the initial incident occurred on March 11th at a residence in Pella, and consisted of multiple sex acts between a 15 year old male juvenile and an “unwilling” 13 year old female. Three complaints of sexual abuse in the third degree were filed against the 15 year old male related to this incident.

During the investigation, investigators received disclosure of two additional allegations made by the 13 year old female. The two additional incidents occurred between September 2015 and July 2016 at the Pella residence, which police say were perpetrated by the same 15 year old male. Two additional counts of sexual abuse in the third degree were referred against the accused related to these allegations.

The offender is currently being held in a juvenile facility.
