Last season, the Pleasantville Trojan Girls Track and Field Team saw a lot of inconsistency in the field events, specifically the high jump and the long jump.

This season, under first year head coach Aaron Fichter, the Trojans are looking to turn those events into more consistent point scorers. Corinne Thomas was the team leader in the long jump, and Tianna Torrejon led the Trojans in the high jump, and both girls will be back for this season, along with a few younger athletes that Coach Fichter said can push to compete in some events.

Coach Fichter
“I feel like it is a place where we can find some more consistency. Last year it was sporadic as kids were developing and we were figuring out who was going to compete”

The Trojans will get their outdoor season started on April 4th at Lynnville-Sully.
