A solid victory in the opening match for the Central College women’s tennis match was followed by a narrow defeat in pair of home matches Saturday.

The Dutch are 9-6 on the season after defeating Northwestern College 6-3 in the opener and dropping a 5-4 decision against Cornell College in the second match.

Next on the docket for the Dutch women is a match at Grand View University in Des Moines Thursday at noon.
