Union Street Players open their 2017 season tonight with the British comedy Noises Off.
Cast member Spence Vermeer says play follows the cast of a stage production across three performances and reveals the conflict and craziness happening both on stage and back stage as things slowly unravel between cast and crew.
Lynn Cutler says Noises Off requires one of the most complicated sets the Union Street Players have ever built for a show, which rotates as the production progresses.
Noises Off will be performed March 30, 31 and April 1 at 7:00 p.m. and April 2 at 2:00 p.m. on the stage of Joan Kuyper Farver Auditorium in the Pella Community Center (712 Union Street, Pella, Iowa). Tickets are available online. Tickets are $8 for Adults in advance and $10 at the door; $6 for Students in advance and $8 at the door.
