The Central College men’s golf team enters this weekend as one of the favorites to win its 33rd Iowa Conference championship.

The league looks at each school’s lowest four rounds from spring competition to put together first round pairings, and Central has the lowest average at 299.25, two strokes better than defending champion Luther.

Rounds one and two will be played today and tomorrow at Finkbine Golf Course in Iowa City, with rounds three and four to be played next weekend at Indianola Country Club.
