The Central College baseball team split a doubleheader with Iowa Conference foe Loras College Saturday, losing 7-6 in 11 innings and winning 13-10 in seven. 

Central, now 17-15 overall and 9-7 conference play, combined for 28 hits in the twinbill.

Jacob Hirst hit for the cycle on the day, as he went 4-for-8, including a double, a triple and a two-run home run. He finished with four RBIs.

Seth Griffiths went 3-for-9 and stole four bases, giving him a school record and Iowa Conference best 26 swipes on the season.

Central continues league play Tuesday with a doubleheader against Nebraska Wesleyan with first pitch at 1 p.m.
