The Pella Christian girls soccer team returned home on Thursday to play Chariton on the heels of three very tough games against ranked opponents. The Eagles avenged a double overtime in loss in 2016 against the Chargers with a decisive 5-0 victory.

From the start, PC came out aggressive and scored just 14 minutes into the game on an assist from Cailey Terpstra to Mary Kate Bandstra.

Terpstra was just getting started as she connected 12 minutes later with Laura DeZwarte on one of the Eagles seven corner kicks.

During the second half, both sisters Cailey and Annika Terpstra and first cousin Molly Bolt also found the net to stretch the score to the final 5-0 margin.

The Eagles improved their record to 3-3 on the season and go back to work on the road at conference newcomer Indianola next Tuesday.
