The Pella Christian boys golf team lost close contests to both Grinnell and Norwalk yesterday in a triangular at Willow Creek Golf Club in West Des Moines.

Graham Howerzyl fired a 36 to finish as runner-up individually, part of a 173 team score for the Eagles.

Grinnell won the triangular with a 168, just five shots ahead of Pella Christian, and the host Warriors shot 170.

Pella Christian is right back in action today at the Perry Country Club for the Perry Invitational.
