The Knoxville Hospital and Clinics will host a Men’s Health Expo inside the hospital lobby tomorrow from 4 to 8 p.m.
There will be three presenters during the expo starting with Dr. David Kermode on colon health at 6 p.m., former sprint car driver and prostate cancer survivor Skip Jackson at 6:30 p.m., and Dr. Todd Peterson on joints and knees at 7 p.m. Surgery Manager Melanie Funk tells KNIA/KRLS News there will be hourly drawings and a grand prize drawing for anyone who attends the expo. Funks says the drawings will include gift certificates from Bass Pro Shop, Raceway Tire and Exhaust and Slideways Karting Center, as well as a grand prize giveaway for a YETI cooler. The purpose of the expo is to bring attention to men’s health issues that get ignored and will feature free skin cancer and blood pressure screenings.
