With three area schools competing in Monroe last night, both the PCM Boys and Girls Track and Field Teams were victorious on their home turf, the girls scoring 182 and the boys 135. The Knoxville girls placed 3rd with 117, and the boys 5th with 76, and the Pleasantville girls in 4th with 65 and the boys in 6th with 69.

The PCM Girls were paced by nine first place finishes, Ashley Miller in the 100m, Rachel Stafford in the 400m, Payton Schut in the 800m, Megan Cowman in the 100m hurdles, Jayci Vos in the 400 hurdles and long jump, and the 4×100, 400, and 800 relay teams. Knoxville’s Katie Keitges finished first in the 1500, Cassidy Pearson in the discus, and the 4×100 shuttle hurdle team, while Pleasantville’s Kasey Pelzer picked up a second place finish in the 100m.

On the boys side, PCM had nine first place finishes as well. Noah Henkenius in the 400m, Chris Ellens in both the 1600 and 3200, Cole Dustin in the 110m hurdles, Noah Clark in the discus, and the 4×100, 200, 400 and 110 shuttle hurdle relay teams. Knoxville was paced by their distance medley team placing first, and Pleasantville’s Hunter Tyree placed first in the 200m and long jump. Full results of the meet are posted below.
