Both Girls and Boys PCM Golf teams won their respective meets last night, the boys winning at home with a score of 161 and the girls traveling to Eddyville coming home with a 210 score.

For the boys, they withstood a strong push from second place Albia lead by meet medalist Andrew Van Ryswyk’s two over par 38, Noah Lanphier with a 40, Braden Phifer with a 41, and Jackson Thomas with a 42.

On the girls side Breanna Maher was meet medalist with a 45, the top score by six strokes. The Mustangs comfortably won over the Rockets by 35 strokes, and Head Coach Val Edwards told KNIA/KRLS Sports that they didn’t play their best, but are glad to pick up the win.

The boys golf next on Friday at Pella, and girls are next Tuesday at Pleasantville.
