Hot starts to each of their season has resulted in several meet wins for both the boys and girls PCM track and field teams to start 2017.

The girls have placed first in each of their meets so far this season, including a big win on their home track this past week with six first place finishes. Jayci Vos, who is a state championship contentender in the 400 hurdles, currently has the second fastest time in class 2A. On the boys side, head coach Colin Harrison told KNIA/KRLS sports that he thinks the culture and attitude that the school has been building from a successful football season, so the wrestling season, and even on the girls side going to the state basketball tournament has been helping his team out. The boys get back into action on Tuesday at Pella Christian, while the girls compete Monday at Norwalk.
