The Pella Christian boys and girls soccer teams competed against North Polk Thursday.

The No. 7 Eagles boys earned a tough victory on the road to Alleman in a 2-1 matchup. Pella Christian led 1-0 at the half off of a Sam Brouwer goal and Alex Pringle scored again in the 73rd minute. The Comets scored with 2:30 left, but the Eagles D held tough for the win. Pella Christian bounces back to 4-2.

Pella Christian’s girls fell to No. 6 in Class 1A North Polk 3-0 at Eagle Lane. Head Coach Mike Buchheit says the team showed great improvement after finding themselves on the wrong side of a lopsided contest with Pella earlier this week.

The Eagles are 2-2. Norwalk is next up for the PC Soccer Teams, with the boys hosting the Warriors and the girls hitting the road Tuesday.
