The Little Dutch and PCM golf teams were among seven schools that opened Bos Landen Golf Course for the high school season at the 3rd annual Dutch Masters tournament Friday afternoon.

Players played a full 18 to coincide with The Masters featuring PGA golfers. Pella’s Ryan Van Wyk finished third among individuals by carding a 74, and tells KNIA/KRLS Sports it was a special experience at the team’s home course.

PCM placed 4th overall with a 344, and Pella placed fifth with a 351. Four Mustangs shot under 90, including Jackson Thomas (84), Andrew Van Ryswyk (85), Dayton Boell (86), and Noah Lamphier (89). The Little Dutch were led by Van Wyk and an 86 by Luke Galazzi.

Williamsburg won the team competition, and Oskaloosa’s Spencer Tucker and Clear Lake’s Thomas Storbeck had a playoff to determine the meet medalist, and Tucker got to wear a green jacket at the awards ceremony. The Little Dutch next play Thursday at home against Knoxville; PCM travels to Toad Valley to take on Bondurant-Farrar.
