Pleasantville Boys Track Heads to Martensdale

Competing in their second meet of the week, the Pleasantville Trojan boys track and field team heads to Martensdale-St. Mary’s tonight to compete against mostly Pride of Iowa Conference teams plus Interstate-35, Colfax-Mingo, and Gilbert.

The Trojans boast several competitors with the fastest times in Pride of Iowa Conference competition, including Hunter Tyree in both the 100m, 200m, and long jump, Gauge Van Haalen in the 400 hurdles, and Chaz Clark in both the discus and shot put. The Trojans have tonight and two more meets until their pivotal Pride of Iowa Conference meet on May 1st at East Union, where the Trojans have finished second to Mount Ayr each of the last several years
