In their final home dual of the season, Pella’s senior-heavy boys tennis team swept Newton 11-0 yesterday.

All but one set was won for the Littel Dutch, with multiple seniors earning sweeps, including Ani Tangellapalli, Michael Reed, Benjamin Lauritsen, and Ryan VanMaanen in singles action. Reed tells KNIA/KRLS Sports he and doubles partner Lauritsen were battling to play their best tennis, but were able to help earn a clean scoresheet against Newton.

Pella is 5-2 and travels to Oskaloosa Thursday.
