The Knoxville Area Community Theatre will present “Arsenic and Old Lace,” a comedy play in three acts, at the Knoxville Performing Arts Center.

“Arsenic and Old Lace” was first produced on Broadway in 1941 and tells the story of the Brewster sisters who view their poisoning of lonely old men as an act of charity. Director of the play Greg May tells KNIA/KRLS News the play is a classic which featured actor Cary Grant when it debuted on Broadway. There will be five separate showings with the first showing to take place Friday, June 9th at 7 p.m. Tickets will be available at the door for $10.00 one hour before the performance
