If there is a faster sprint car in the Midwest, Brian Brown likely has not seen it at the Knoxville Raceway. Brown ran down Ian Madsen and blew by him in the 410 A-Main to notch win number 35 and tie him with the legendary Randy Smith for seventh on the all-time winners list. Brown and Madsen flipped roles from last week when Ian that held the lead on the final lap only to get bottled up by a lapped car, this week Brown was the rabbit and Madsen had a chance on the last lap by traffic never worked to his advantage. In the 360 show, Calvin Landis was dominating when Ryan Giles used the low side to catch and pass Landis. Giles told KNIA/KRLS Sports the bottom for him was the place to be. Kevin Hetrick won for the second time in three 305 shows this season when he held off Ryan Leavitt and Chris Walraven. Hetrick was out in front the whole time, but kept a watchful eye on the two drivers trading positions two and three behind him. Next week, all three classes are back for another night of racing.
