One of the most decorated high jumpers in Central College men’s track and field history finished out his career yesterday, as Logan Mulford placed seventh at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

Mulford earned his fourth All-American honors in the high jump, but finished a disappointing seventh. Freshman teammate Will Daniels finished just off the podium in 10th.

Ryan Kruse closed out the decathlon with 6,164 points and a 13th place finish.

In yesterday afternoon’s prelims of the 400-meter dash, Hope Heitman finished just .54 seconds away from a spot in the finals. Her time of 56.57 seconds was the 12th fastest mark in the 22-runner field.

The final Dutch athlete competing, Mark Fairley, will run the final of the 3,000-meter steeplechase this morning.
