Central College baseball outfielder Seth Griffiths was named to the ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division III Central All-Region second team Tuesday.

The primary leadoff hitter for the Dutch, Griffiths started all 42 games in right field. He led the team in hits (58), runs scored (36) stolen bases (31) and batting average (.345).

Griffiths set the school record for stolen bases in a season, surpassing the record set by Tom Koos in 1986 by eight.

The Dutch finished the 2017 season with a 20-22 record and a 12-12 mark in league play.
