Previously a D3baseball.com All-Central Region selection in 2015, Central College pitcher Dylan Diveney received the honor a second time yesterday.

Diveney finished this year with a 1.66 ERA in 43.1 innings on the mound. He allowed just eight earned runs and nine runs total. Opponents registered .195 batting average against him, fanning 41 times. He gave up just two extra-base hits all season.

The Iowa Conference pitcher of the year as a freshman in 2015, Diveney was returning from injury that took nearly all of his sophomore season. A third team all-region selection this year matches his third team honor in 2015.

Diveney and the rest of the Dutch finished a 20-22 record overall and 12-12 in conference play.
