The All-Iowa Conference baseball team was released Tuesday, and Central College pitcher Dylan Diveney and outfielder Seth Griffiths were announced as first team choices while Billy Coppage was also cited as an honorable mention selection.

Diveney had 1.17 ERA in his six appearances. He struck out 31 batters in 30.2 innings while allowing just four earned runs and five total runs. Holding opponents to a .162 batting average, he allowed just one extra-base hit.

In 24 conference games, Griffiths hit. 347 with a .400 slugging percentage. He drove in eight runs from the leadoff spot and had five doubles. Griffiths, who is fourth on the program’s all-time stolen base list, swiped 16 bags in conference play.

Central finished the regular season in sixth place with a 20-22 record and played in the postseason league tournament, losing a pair of one run games last weekend.
