The Central College baseball team dropped its final home game of the season to Wartburg College 15-0 in seven innings Monday afternoon.

Central is 18-19 overall and 10-11 in the Iowa Conference after mustarding just only two hits against the Knights on a cold and blustery Senior Day.

Despite the loss, the Dutch clinched a spot in the six-team Iowa Conference tournament due to a Loras College loss Sunday. The league tourney is May 11-13 at Cedar Rapids. Central finishes conference play at Simpson College with a three-game series beginning with a single game at 6 p.m. Friday and a doubleheader at 1 p.m. Saturday, which you’ll be able to hear on AM 1320 and FM 95.3 KNIA.
