A thrilling 2-1 victory over rival Oskaloosa in first round district play means the Knoxville boys soccer season is not over.

Patrick Crawford and Darius Pipkins were the scorers for the Panthers, with Chase Larson picking up an assist and Tyeson VanWynGarden coming up big in between the posts with nine saves. The Panthers move on to play Norwalk on the road Wednesday at 6:30pm. The Knoxville girls also picked up a win, this time over area rival PCM 1-0. Kelsey Ryan led the attack with the only goal of the game, with Amber VanderVeer assisting. The Panthers improve to 5-8 on the season and play Indianola on Thursday.
