The Knoxville School Board will meet in both special and regular session today.

The board will first meet in a closed session at 4:30 p.m. to hold student reinstatement hearings. Following the closed session the board will meet in regular session at 5:30 p.m. The board will view a presentation on the and trip to Nashville. Following the presentation the board will consider the list of graduates as well as consider teacher leader recommendations. Next the board will consider the creation of a Home School Assistance Program for the 2017-2018 school year that provides a supervisory teacher, lending library, enrichment classes, lab intensives, and educational planning workshops. The board will review the Iowa Public Schools Insurance Program before considering the 2016-2017 certified budget amendment. They will end the meeting with reviewing three considerations, with the first a diesel fuel purchase agreement with FS Agriland the second for the potential purchase of a new handicap accessible bus, and the third for a student request for a dance team fundraiser of a free will donation garage sale to be held on June 3rd. The meeting will take place inside the Knoxville School Administration Building.
