The Little Hawkeye Conference tennis tournaments are being held Monday.

The Pella and Pella Christian girls are part of the event at Grinnell High School. Josh McCollam, head coach of the regular season champion Lady Dutch, is hoping that his squad can build upon that success as postseason begins.

“The past two seasons we’ve gone through and been regular season Little Hawkeye Conference champions, not losing a dual meet. But we haven’t quite gotten that conference tournament win yet, so we’re focused on trying to get one of those.”

Pella has finished second each of the past two seasons, and McCollam is hoping the third time is the charm trying to complete the regular season and conference tournament double.

Meanwhile, the Pella boys are part of the boys Little Hawkeye Conference meet taking place at Norwalk.
