The Melcher-Dallas Baseball Squad is now 3-1 on the season after a 7-3 win over Woodward Academy last night. Paul Karpan went 2/4 while Sam Houston was 2/3 and Josh Davenport had two R-B-I. Melcher-Dallas pitched by committee as Karpan got the win pitching just one inning, Zach Moore went three innings and struck out five Woodward Academy batters. The Saints are in their third season under Coach Pat Ferguson and he tells KNIA/KRLS Sports he sees the guys mature after finally having some seniors on the team this season. The Saints will take on Pleasantville this Wednesday.
